A Study on Attitude of Pregnancy and Delivery in Korean Women



Abstract
The purpose of this study is intended to the pregnancy women. Pregnancy & delivery is important event in life, so information and support is needed to them.
The subjects for this study were 520 randomly from 10 regions in South Korea. The data was colle--ted
through questionare and interview from July 1st to 30th, 1986. Data analysis included percentage by $AS. The findings are as follows.
1. Main information resources are expert publication and mother. The level of satisfaction is 33.8%, 77.9% is needed more easy and expert publication. They wanted more information about baby nurturing, delivery method without pain, and postpartum management.
2. Their attitude about prenatal care is careful but concrete method of prenatal care is not satisfactory. 3. The concept of pregnancy & delivery is almost positive. They wanted to be with a doctor, husband, mother, nurse. mother in law at their delivery time, in ordered.
